How much does it cost?
Your first session is a taster and therefore FREE!  After that sessions are £8 per week, payable termly in advance.

20% discount on the above fees are available for students, people over 65 and those on benefits (proof will be required).

Can I join at any point in a term?
Yes you can!  We learn a new song every 1/2 weeks, so joining in is always easy and the harmonies online mean you can catch up on other songs at home if you like.  One member joined two weeks before the end of the autumn term and still took part in our Christmas performance!

Do I have to read music?                   
No, all music is taught by ear.
 When you join you are given a password that gives you access to the vocal harmonies on this website, so you can practice at home!

Will I get a refund if I miss a class?
Sadly, no.  However, you are welcome to swap venues for a week, ie go to the Honor Oak class on a Tuesday if you can't make the DL class on Wednesday that week.  The song schedules are different because the HO class is one term ahead.

Do I have to be a good singer?        
No...that's why there is no audition.  All you need is enthusiasm, a love of good music  - and perhaps a sense of humour!

Will I get a solo?                  
In the main,  we work as a group, but there will be some opportunities for members to be "featured" in the future!

Can I bring a drink in from the bar?             
The groups are so friendly you won't need Dutch courage, but you're welcome to.

Does SIB perform in public?                                  
Yes - see "news" page.  And an SIB show is planned for the summer.  Watch this space or, better still, be part of it!
