Here's what some members think...
"With no previous singing experience, I had a few fears before joining SIB: what if the other members were professional singers? Would I be able to get my voice round the notes? Would the group leader accept me?
But SIB is a very inclusive group. The members are friendly and encouraging. Christina has the gift of making all feel welcome and an equal participant in the group, regardless of level. The sessions are fun, and learning the harmonies is so absorbing I can honestly say that this is the one time in the week when I genuinely switch off from the stresses of daily life. A real tonic! "
Faith McGrath
“After the first taster session I have never looked back; with Christina’s teaching and patience, every week we create a piece which is beautifully harmonised. Sing it Back is one of the highlights of my week”
Jana Clements
"We nearly didn't make it to our first session - we just weren't in the mood. We arrived feeling tired and out of sorts, but left energised and happy. The power of music and good teaching!"
Pippa Phillips
"I had been looking for a local choir for ages, but they all appeared to be a little too serious....until I discovered Sing It Back that is. Christina does an amazing job in mixing music and fun together, plus I've made some really good friends at the same time. Singing really is good for the soul and I can't recommend Sing It Back highly enough!"
Carole Beckwith
"I'd forgotten how great it was to sing! Christina's a great teacher, funky, feisty and fun."
Annie Billing
"I started SIB in September having just finished treatment for cancer and being a bit low. A friend persuaded me since I have never sung and wasn't sure it would be for me. It is such good fun and makes me smile and forget all my worries - worth every penny - should be on the NHS!"
